help! I heard a song on the radio some time ago and thought it would be a really meaningful Father/Daughter dance song at a wedding. I’m pretty sure the song had the word Kingdom in it but that is about all I remember!!!!! Any help would be great. The wedding is June 25!!!.

We’d love to help, but do you have anything else for us to go on? Guy singer? Girl singer? When you said “some time ago”, did you mean in the last couple of days, weeks, months, or years? If it was some time within the last couple of weeks, do you remember a day and time? Do you remember any other words? Also…If you check out the “Lyrics” section of our Music Blog, TheMusicTest.com, there are 2 listings at the bottom. One for songs for Funerals and one for songs for weddings. Maybe look through that list too. Let us know!

Took a look through our logs and listened to our backups, and here is my best guess.
Robert Pierre – “You Hold Me Now”
This was the song that aired immediately before the first interview segment of Addison Road on Total Axxess.
Other songs that played around the 8pm time frame are:
Dave Barnes – “God Gave Me You”
Chris August – “Starry Night”
Remedy Drive – “Speak to Me”
VOTA – “Free to Fail”

I’m trying to find a song that i heard September 02, which was a thursday around 3 pm to 6 pm. it is fast paced and a guy sings it. I heard it and just fell in love with it. I think a line says “god of heaven come down..”?

I am still trying to figure out this one song i heard 9/8/10 the time i think was around 8 it played before natalie grant interview with wally.. and it was a really upbeat tempo and it had a verse in it about “breaking walls” i think and i looked on the song log and it wasn’t on there !! it has been on my mind ever since!! i would really appreciate if you could help me (:

That song seems like it would be the one . but the one i heard that night had some singing in it but not a whole lot and in the beginning of the song i remember there was just music playing for awhile..

that is a great song, but thats not it…haha…It was a male singing…it was a story of a partner cheating in a marriage….I thought for sure the title would of been called “father forgive them” but I couldn’t find it…..any other possibilities?

Huh…You have me stumped. I really don’t know. We play a mix of normal JQ tunes and whatever Wally plays on Total Axxess. Based on the fact it wasn’t on the log, I’d have to say it was a song from Wally’s show. Do you have anything else I can go on?

yeah it was during his show because a listener called in and he was talking about his wife who had an affair and the struggle he was going thru with that in being able to forgive them so he can move on. Right after that call he played the song.

Well…It wasn’t easy, but I found it. You know why it was so hard? Because it’s a Total Axxess exclusive. Hit the following link for the full details, but apparently there was a contest of sorts on Total Axxess with Tenth Avenue North. Listeners wrote in about life and one listener would have their story turned into a song by Tenth Avenue North. That’s what you heard.

Hey! I heard an amazing song on here and i can’t remember the name or artist!
But it’s by this girl. She was interviewed on here a week or 2 ago. She said her husband helps her write the songs. & He said that she gets REALLY into her music.
She has a really quietish voice..
& i can barely remember the lyrics! but i know that I fell in love with that song..

Thanks for the comment, I totally know which song you are referring to. First…The singer is, JJ Heller. She actually has a couple of songs in Christian Radio right now. One is called “Your Hands”. The second one and most recent one on JQ is called “What Love Really Means”. “What Love Really Means” is off of her brand new record that released a couple of weeks back called, “When I’m With You”.

Okay…Took some digging, but I think I’ve got it for you. I believe it was Truth Bomb – “Angels We Have Heard On High”. The chorus sings “gloria”, so it’s easy to assume that was the name of the song. Looking for the title/artist of a song aired this morning about 6am. The singer is male, the song is about a gent hearing pleas from his family to be there for them. It ends with the singer asking God to help him as he can not do this on his own. Any ideas? Thanks for checking.
I heard a song today (December 26, 2010) between 11pm-12am. I heard a wonderful song I would love to play with my guitar. I’m not sure what its called though. It had the words “you are glorious” or something like that. It said that 2x and then they said “you are beautiful” 2x as well. I’m not exactly sure it said “you are” before the words beautiful and glorious but I know for a fact it had Glorious and Beautiful. Please help

I’m doing the best I can for you Brian, but there are 2 possible songs that we played during that time frame that contain the words “Beautiful” and/or “Glorious”.
Here you go:
MercyMe – “Beautiful”
Revive – “Something Glorious”
I believe that the one you are referring to is Revive – “Something Glorious” because it’s the one of the two that actually has both words in the chorus. However the chorus is, “Show me something glorious. Show me something glorious. I’ll show you the maker of it all. Show me something beautiful. Show me something beautiful. I’ll show you the One behind it all.” However…The MercyMe song says, “You’re Beautiful”. So…Take a listen to both. Hopefully it’s one or the other.
